This course provides an in-depth exploration of forensic odontology as applied within a large municipal agency. You will explore real-world scenarios, learning the processes of dental evidence collection, record analysis and radiograph interpretation. Through diverse case studies—including civil litigation, criminal investigations and disaster victim identification—you'll gain insights into body identification terminology, the significance of contextual versus non-contextual data and the critical role of dental records in various forensic contexts.
