Kimberly Sanders, Pharm.D., BCPS, is a clinical associate professor at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Eshelman School of Pharmacy, with a shared appointment at the UNC Adams School of Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Purdue University and completed a pharmacy practice residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Sanders is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist with a focus on clinical pharmacy services in dental clinics and medication management related to oral health.

She presents continuing education on pain and chronic disease management both locally and nationally. Her research also focuses on interprofessional education and preparing healthcare professionals for team-based care.
