Dr. Elizabeth Simpson is a general dentist in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a one-year general practice residency at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Dr. Simpson recently left Indiana University School of Dentistry where she was a full-time clinical assistant professor and clinic director in the Department of Comprehensive Care and Allied Health Sciences and joined a private practice. She was part the American Dental Association's Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention and served as council chair from 2023-2024. She is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. She has participated in numerous panels and podcasts discussing topics ranging from DEI in dentistry to, of course, the age one dental visit. Dr. Simpson is passionate about educating the public on infant oral health and encouraging dental students to pursue careers serving in underserved communities.
