Nancy Dewhirst, RDH, is a nationally recognized speaker, educator and infection control expert. A graduate of the University of Southern California, she practiced clinical dental hygiene for 20 years and serves as adjunct faculty in the dental hygiene program at West Coast University. She is also a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the dental hygiene honor society.

Ms. Dewhirst is Editor-in-Chief of Infection Control in Practice(ICIP), a peer-reviewed publication of the Association for Dental Safety (ADS) and has authored numerous professional articles. Recognized as one of the U.S. “Leaders in CE,” she presents more than 80 seminars annually at major dental conferences across the United States and Canada.
