Dr. Elizabeth Simpson is a general dentist in her hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a one-year general practice residency at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry. Dr. Simpson has spent the bulk of her years in practice working in underserved communities around the state of Indiana in various clinical settings ranging from community health centers to on-site in nursing homes. She has also worked full time as a clinical assistant professor at Indiana University School of Dentistry. She was part the American Dental Association's Council on Advocacy for Access and Prevention and served as council chair from 2023-2024. She is a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. She has participated in numerous panels and podcasts discussing topics ranging from DEI in dentistry to, of course, the age one dental visit. Dr. Simpson is passionate about educating the public on infant oral health and encouraging dental students to pursue careers serving in underserved communities.
